Reverse Flow

Fire Hydraulics

Effective Date: July 24, 2026

Introduction

Reverse Flow is a fire service hydraulic calculator and utility application. This policy explains what information may be collected when you use Reverse Flow.

Information We Collect

Reverse Flow does not require user accounts or login credentials. The app stores calculator settings, saved calculations, and the last confirmed Supporter state on the device.

Apple or Google provides purchase and subscription status directly to the app for billing controls. That store status is not used by the Reverse Flow backend to decide Supporter identity. A name and email address are collected only when you voluntarily claim or recover Supporter status. The app may also produce anonymous operational diagnostics needed to investigate failures and improve reliability; these diagnostics exclude full email addresses, receipts, purchase tokens, transaction identifiers, and calculator content.

Calculator inputs and fireground calculations remain on your device. Reverse Flow does not transmit or upload them.

In-App Purchases

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple App Store or Google Play. The current store account determines purchase availability, active monthly support, restoration, and subscription changes. Reverse Flow does not use its backend as a second billing authority.

Apple processes In-App Purchases. Reverse Flow does not collect or receive credit card numbers, payment card details, or payment credentials.

Supporter Registration

Reverse Flow asks for a name and email address when a user registers or recovers Supporter status. The Reverse Flow backend uses the normalized email address to maintain permanent, provider-neutral Supporter identity and prevent duplicate registrations. A name may appear in the public Supporter Directory only according to the registration choices presented in the app.

Supporter identity is maintained independently from Apple, Google, or Stripe billing state. Public Supporter listings display only the chosen public name and Supporting Since date. Email addresses, purchase history, provider account information, and billing details are never displayed publicly.

Third-Party Services

The mobile applications use Apple App Store and Google Play Billing for purchases, Supabase for protected backend infrastructure and Supporter records, and Resend for Supporter welcome emails. These services receive only the information needed for their stated role.

How We Use Information

Reverse Flow uses voluntarily submitted information to maintain Supporter status, deliver the welcome email, recover Supporter status across devices, and prevent duplicate records. Apple and Google provide billing state directly to the app.

Data Sharing

Apple or Google processes store purchases. Reverse Flow uses Supabase and Resend to store Supporter records and deliver welcome emails. Reverse Flow does not sell personal information.

Website and Mobile Applications

The Reverse Flow website may use analytics technologies such as the Meta Pixel to understand website traffic and improve the website experience. The native Reverse Flow mobile applications do not include the Meta SDK and do not transmit mobile usage events to Meta.

Information We Do Not Collect

Reverse Flow does not collect precise location, contacts, health or fitness data, photos or videos, text messages, browsing history, search history, payment card details, advertising identifiers, or sensitive information.

User Choices

Supporter recognition is optional. You can continue using every calculator without purchasing or registering as a Supporter.

Children's Privacy

Reverse Flow is not directed toward children under 13 years of age.

Data Security

Reverse Flow uses reasonable steps to protect information handled by the app and by service providers used for purchase verification, Supporter registration, and email delivery.

Reverse Flow may update this policy when app features or privacy practices change. The effective date above shows when this policy was last updated.
